Scot is from rural Oklahoma. He came to Acadiana to attend UL Lafayette as a member of the Ragin Cajun Water Ski Team. He has continued to be involved in competivtive skiing and other lifetime sports giving him a special appreciation for the musculoskeletal issues that come with active adult lifestyles.

He obtained his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from LSU in 2000. He is certified in Dry Needling and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Manual Therapy of the spine and extremities has also been an emphasis of his continuing education and he enjoys post operative orthopedic rehab.
